This is Tiffin Athletic Mats' newest addition to the Rock Climbing Flooring
family. This mat has a tapered edge to help reduce ankle injuries.
When you place two or more of these mats side by side - one right side up,
one upside down - it creates a "Z" seam
that also helps to reduce the risk of injury.
The mat is 8" thick and made of 18 oz. knife-coated vinyl fabric and has a dual layer of prime polyurethane foam. As such, it offers a firm
landing area, with enough softness to reduce the shock of landing. |

This is the top of the mat. The red top offers an easy visual
for a safe landing when traversing at high elevations, and the tapered edges are easily
visible from this view. Like this, the more firm layer of foam is exposed,
giving you a firm landing surface with a little give due to the softer foam
on the bottom. |

When the mat is flipped over, the softer side is exposed
allowing for a more "pit"-like falling surface. |
